What to do With Empty Journals

If you’re anything like me, you have a huge collection of journals sitting around your room that are totally empty, and you bought them because you told yourself you would write in them and haven’t. Well, now you can.

In Shelby Abrahamsen’s article, “30 Fun and Effective Ways to Use a Blank Notebook”, she first talks about how journal hoarding is a real thing. I definitely agree with that because I do it. Then, she goes on to share her list of 30 things you can do with your unused journals. One of her suggestions is to make a dream diary. When you wake up from a dream, you can write it down in your journal and even revisit it to see if you can find a meaning in the dream. I have a dream journal already, but I never thought about trying to look for the meanings behind my dreams. Another one of her suggestions is called a Vision Journal. It’s like a vision board but in a journal. It’s where you write out your wildest dreams and goals, cut out pictures from magazines, add drawings, basically do whatever you want. She even adds a link that will give you some ideas on how to get started with your vision journal. There are many other ways to use up your blank notebooks. After you check out the article by clicking here, go out there and write! As Abrahamsen says:
“If you are ready to feel inspired to take on your journal collection, then grab your favorite pen and let’s jump in!”.
